Guam has an interesting mix of cultures (USA, Philippines, Catholic, Guam), so it's hard to tell exactly where all these rituals when it hits New Year's come from: shaking cans of money, stuffing your pockets with money, or wearing stripes or circles will make you rich; jumping up and down will make you tall; yelling at the top of your lungs will make your voice beautiful.
